Zoo Frankfurt

The zoo was already opened in 1858 and is one of the most traditional zoos of the world.

It developed to one of the best place of this kind under its famous director Dr. Dr. Prof. Bernhard Grzimek, who always pointed out that zoos are not meant to be a showcase for a collection of animals but a home for the animals. Thus the visitor is able to see the animals als natural as possible.
